Raquel Reigns has gone viral for her exhilarating Subway Sessionz singing in public under the 7 train in New York City. She has been blessed with 2.7 million followers on Tiktok. Ms. Reigns was featured on the front of Curly Hair Magazine, guest starred in Times Square on the TV show Wonderama! and duetted live with Alicia Keys! During the lockdown, Reigns inspired many to do what they love and create artistic spaces where there were none, including parking garages and under trains with incredible natural reverb and acoustics. Before Raquel’s Tiktok stardom, the vocalist pursued musical theatre and graduated from the Pacific Conservatory of the Performing Arts, a school thirty minutes north of her small hometown, Lompoc, California. She honed her performance skills before moving to Los Angeles to sing and act for over 8 years. Reign’s had the opportunity to play Alice’s daughter in Big River and join the cast of Rent, the musical, and Urinetown! the musical. She could also be seen accompanying herself on guitar and piano, singing crowd favorites like Lady Gaga, Alicia Keys, and Adele. Next, in Raquel’s endeavors, she hit the high seas aboard Norwegian and Princess Cruise Lines. Her professional career in singing has taken her all over the world, such as Thailand, Indonesia, Japan, Mexico, Honduras, and more. The cruise ship world gave her the opportunities to not only sing and act but also dance. Solos included the likes of New York State of Mind Billy Joel, I Dreamed a Dream from Les Mis and classical opera Lakme from the Flower Duet. When she is not performing, she has recently graduated with her master's in Applied Behavior Analysis and Autism. She is pursuing her licensure to practice as a behavior analyst. She has a background in psychology and loves helping others find self-love and care for one’s mental health.
